The first edition of Banking Law was published in 1995. In the 25 years since then, with the advent of electronic, internet, and mobile banking, this area of law in Malaysia has undergone many changes. The banking industry has also faced new obstacles, both domestically and abroad, owing to concerns like compliance, corporate governance, ethics, risk management, financial crimes, and money laundering.
